What you’ll do?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deployment Technician to join our team with an exciting project. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment, configuration, and installation of hardware and software systems for our client. You will play a key part in ensuring that all end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, are correctly configured, tested, and deployed according to company standards.

  • Troubleshoot and support desktops, laptops, peripherals, AV equipment, printers, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests for staff and students in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform basic hardware diagnostics, configuration, and setup tasks to maintain reliable device performance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed ticket records, contributing to knowledge base documentation where appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, providing regular updates and maintaining agreed service level expectations.

What you’ll bring?

  • Currently studying or completed a Certificate or higher course related to Information Technology.
  • Passionate about everything IT and have an above-average understanding of MacOS and WindowsOS.
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service, retail and/or operations role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong professional attitude and conduct and ability to work well within a team.

What else do you need to apply?

  • Travel on-site to our client's office in Whyalla. 
  • Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.

Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
