What you’ll do?
The EOL Program Technician is responsible for carrying out the secure handling, processing, and preparation of IT equipment, ensuring that all devices are accurately sorted, labelled, cleaned, packaged, and prepared for transport. A key focus of the role is maintaining strict adherence to customer data security protocols, ensuring all data is erased in compliance with legislative and company requirements. This role also contributes to continuous improvement opportunities and supports the efficient functioning of the wider A Tech team.
- Perform End of Life (EOL) processes, including secure device wiping and preparing items for transport to other facilities.
- Clean devices and remove all identifying marks such as stickers, asset tags, or engravings.
- Ensure customer and business data remains private and is not viewed directly, unless formally authorised in writing.
- Contribute to team efficiency and effectiveness, supporting A Tech objectives and adhering to security protocols.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for operational improvement to the Leadership Team.
- Label devices by RMA# or customer batch to ensure goods remain isolated, identifiable, and accountable always.
What you’ll bring?
- Experience with stock picking, sorting, labelling, packaging, and accurate data entry.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and secure data erasure practices.
- Work collaboratively with others, supporting team objectives and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workload efficiently.
What else do you need to apply?
- Travel on-site to our office in Mordialloc.
- Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions
A Tech will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working with Children Check.
